RHYOLITE
Rhyolite comes in a variety of colours except in dark green, dark grey or black. It is known as the ‘stone of resolution’ because all things unresolved are taken to completion. This stone is great for meditation as it allows one to see the highest truth. Because of its various formational traits and patterns, it represents variety, change, and progress and allows one to understand and process issues from the past in order to move toward the future. It reminds us to live in the here and now since this current moment is the only one that really exists and where our power is. Emotionally, it helps us reach out and go beyond our limitations and reach a profound and joyous state of knowing. Physically, it has been used in the treatment of rashes, skin complaints, improve the uptake of vitamins, and vein disorders.
