TANGERINE QUARTZ
Tangerine Quartz is a member of the Quartz family and has a beautiful natural orange colour throughout the crystal. It is formed from the presence of Hematite and water in the cavity where they grew and slowly over time, the water combined with Hematite to create rust that permanently bonded to the surface of the crystals. Tangerine Quartz works to activate, balance, and cleanse the sacral chakra, leading to enhanced feelings of joy, sexuality, and creativity. It can be a great healing stone especially after trauma or shock. It dispels isolation and allows one to cope better with changes. It also promotes self-discovery and evolution and can bring a great deal of strength and love into one’s life. Tangerine quartz has been used in the past to treat weight loss and is said to provide an increased T-cell count in AIDS patients. It can also help with the lower back, sexual organs, and the lower abdomen.
