Gua Sha is a word of chinese origin and directly translates to 'scratch' and 'sand'. It is a treatment in traditional Chinese medicine where a solution is utilised (eg. tiger balm, face oil, vaseline or water) with a scraping tool (Eg. coin, spoon or crystal plate).
