About Eternal Spirit

For almost three decades, this little Adelaide shop has been a place where people come to find something they didn't quite know they were looking for.

Eternal Spirit is, and has always been, a sanctuary — a quiet, considered space where crystals, incense, sound, fragrance, tarot, and all manner of spiritual tools are gathered with thought and offered with warmth. Every piece is chosen with care, and every person who walks in is met with the same. Over the years, that's made Eternal Spirit a place Adelaide returns to — for a first crystal, for a quiet hour of browsing, for the kind of unhurried guidance that's harder to find than it should be.

You're always welcome to come and wander. There's no need to know what you're looking for. Most people don't, the first time they walk in.

A little of our history

Eternal Spirit was founded in 1997 by Jan and Grant, two beloved figures in Adelaide's metaphysical community whose vision and care shaped the shop from its earliest days. They still live nearby, and we're lucky enough to see them from time to time when they pop in to say hello — a quiet reminder of the love that's been woven into this place from the beginning.

In 2008, Peter took on the role of custodian, bringing his own warmth and devotion to the shop and continuing to grow it as a haven for the local crystal and spiritual community.

In February 2024, the shop passed into the care of Yasmine, who continues to shape Eternal Spirit with deep respect for everything that has come before.

Three custodians, twenty-nine years, and one shared belief: that this work matters, and that the people who walk through the door deserve to be met with warmth, honesty, and care.

A note from Yasmine

I came to this work the way many people arrive at the things that matter most — through a season of recalibration, and a series of quiet, unmistakable signs. I'd spent two decades in the creative industries as a singer, songwriter, and performer, with chapters in Los Angeles and London. By the time Eternal Spirit came up for sale, I was ready to listen.

I'm a third-generation Australian, and my family carries Phoenician heritage — that ancient seafaring lineage along the eastern Mediterranean. I grew up on a farm, and my love of crystals, of the earth, of the quieter dimensions of life, began there in childhood and has only deepened since.

What I can offer you is a beautiful, thoughtfully curated space, a genuine love of this craft, and a deep respect for the traditions Eternal Spirit draws from. Crystals, fragrance, and ritual are companions to your own inner work — they're not a substitute for it, and I'd never pretend otherwise. The rest is yours to discover.
