Peridot is one of the few crystals that occur in only one colour. Depending on the iron content, Peridot can vary from yellow-green through to brownish green with an olive green considered the most valuable. It is a rare crystal and is known as the stone to “heal the healers”. It allows one to understand the changes occurring in one’s life and to recognise emotional patterns that are blocking one’s growth. It provides a shield of protection around the body and helps to heal a “bruised ego” by lessening anger or jealousy. This stone provides happiness within the self and can be very healing towards the heart. Physically, it may be used in the treatment of disorders of the lungs, spleen, heart and intestinal tract. It can also strengthen eyesight and provide relief from ulcers.
A Goddess is a female deity. In some cultures Goddesses are associated with Earth, motherhood, love and the household. In other cultures, Goddesses also rule over war, death and destruction as well as healing. The Goddess is symbolic of regenerative, creative and life-giving energies of the universe. The Goddess is the keeper of wisdom and the spirit of both Earth and the heavens.
