AFRICAN TURQUOISE
Turquoise is a copper aluminum phosphate mineral.  It has a striking blue colour which is caused by the presence of copper while the greener shades of Turquoise are due to the presence of Iron.  This crystal is a master healer that gives forth a purifying energy which tends to dispel negativity.  It is a healer of the spirit, providing a gentle soothing energy and peace of mind.  It induces wisdom and understanding and allows for trust and kindness.  It allows us to recognize the beauty in all things and stimulates the initiation of romantic love.  It is a stone for self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and encourages one to be kind to oneself.  Physically, it can aid in the absorption of nutrients and stimulate the regeneration of tissue.  It has also been used in the treatment of headaches and to repair physical damage which has occurred to the body.
