WHAT ARE CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS?

Many cultures have recognised the importance of sound as a form of healing for centuries. The Tibetans use bells, chimes, bowls, and chanting, while the Australian Aboriginals and Native Americans use vocal toning.
Crystal singing bowls are a form of vibrational medicine that validates the idea that everything in the Universe is in a state of vibration, and the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates is called "resonance." The chakras, bones, and organs in our body all possess a different resonant frequency, so when they vibrate non-harmoniously, it is called a "dis-ease" or disease. A healthy body is one where each cell creates a resonance that is in harmony with the whole being.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE SIZES OF THE BOWLS?

• The deeper the sound and the more bass there is
• The louder the sound that is produced hence a greater ability to penetrate
• Because the sound is louder, it will travel further in the room as well
• The sound vibrations last longer so the bowl "sings" for much longer too

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT BOWL FOR ME?

• Purpose - what are you intending to do with it?  If it is just for clearing or relaxation purposes, then any bowl that you are drawn to the most will be sufficient.  If it is for healing a specific area, then target that area with the resonating chakra.
• Sound and tone - listen to the bowl and see if you like the sound of it.  It is understood that we are drawn to the one that our body needs the most.
• Intuition - trust your instincts and what you're drawn to.  It is your body's way of saying that energetically, you need this particular bowl the most.
• Quality - crystal singing bowls are a lot more powerful than traditional metal tibetan singing bowls both audibly and energetically.
