Georgina’s interest in holistic wellness was borne out of
her own personal struggle with serious chronic illness. Through
her 6 year recovery process she gained an insight into how
each level of our being functions in relation to the others
and realised that disharmony in one leads to disharmony in
all. With this insight, she sought out therapies and philosophies
of living that supported a holistic approach and soon realized
that what she was uncovering was having a positive impact
on her health on all levels. At this point, she knew she had
to utilise her knowledge and experience to help others and
help make the journey smoother for those who were struggling,
just as she had been, to make sense of the life that they
were now leading.
Georgina believes each person is an individual with their
own unique set of circumstances and must be treated accordingly.
She works to support and encourage your body to a state of
total balance using her powerful, yet very gentle techniques
that are designed to offer long lasting results and not just
band-aid solutions.
The
techniques she employs are:
1. Biodynamic Cranial Touch (BCT)
A gentle and subtle whole body approach to the human experience.
BCT works by gentle, non-invasive contact at specific points
on the body. Through mutual entrainment and whole body coherence,
the client is nurtured into deep stages of relaxation, releasing
stress and trauma and liberating new levels of vitality, health
and awakening.
2. Craniosacral Therapy (CT)
Another gentle therapy which utilises light touch to help
normalise the craniosacral system. This therapy treats the
root cause because quite often where we feel pain is not always
the same as where the cause is located. CT is not something
that is "done" to the body, rather it stimulates
and awakens the body to adjust and heal itself.
3. Myofascial Release
This utilises sustained pressure and stretching to loosen
myofascial restrictions hence reduce pain, relieve muscle
tension and increase
range of motion. It involves releasing and unwinding the fascia
which can store memories of physical and/or emotional trauma.
Releasing these restrictions allows us to discharge recurring
emotional or physical pain.
4. Positional Release Therapy (PRT)
A pain-free method of treating injury, stress, repetitive
strain, postural distortion and chronic neuromuscular conditions.
Commonly treated problems include twisted or tilted pelvis,
rotator cuff syndrome, sciatica, whiplash and thoracic outlet
syndrome are treated through gentle repositioning, cradling
and supporting the body to 'unwind' from it's neurological
memory.
5. Lymphatic Massage
A form of massage that stimulates the body’s lymphatic system,
improving the metabolism, helping the body to eliminate waste
and toxins and providing a boost to the immune system.
6. Relaxation Massage
A smooth, gentle style of massage aimed at relaxing the body
Georgina is offers the following services:

Angie's
interest in the human body began 26 years ago whilst training
as an Aesthetician (Natural beauty therapist). This involved
intensive training not only in facial and body treatments,
but at a deeper level of 'how the body works' ie. Anatomy
and physiology and the important part nutrition plays in the
health of the body and all of its systems.
Through the years, Angie's interest in health and the human
body has grown, leading to her studies as a remedial massage
therapist 8 years ago. From the intense and sometimes quite
heavy sports massage, through to the gentle but highly effective
bowen therapy, Angie caters for all ages and body conditions
from the frail to the very fit (including babies and the elderly).
Angie's intention as a remedial therapist is to treat everyone
as an individual, offering you a relaxing treatment of either:
1. Bowen therapy
2. Therapeutic massage
3. Sports massage
4. Swedish massage
5. Trigger point therapy
6. Myofascial therapy
7. Reflexology
8. Reiki
9. A combination of the above
The benefits of a massage can increases circulation, removes
wastes and toxins, improves skin tone, relaxes the muscles,
improve flexibility and relieve stress buildup.
(Health fund rebates are AVAILABLE)
Angie also does Facials and Waxing so if you would like more

Larissa
is offering:
1. Hot Stone Massage Therapy
Hot Stone Massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth,
heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock
that absorbs and retains heat well. The stones are heated
up and placed over key areas of the body. The heat from
the stones helps to relax the muscles and reduce pain or
discomfort, thus boosting the healing process. It is a deeply
soothing, relaxing form of massage.
What Happens During a Hot Stone Massage?
* Before you arrive, Larissa sanitizes the stones and heats
them in 45-60ºC water.
* Larissa uses traditional strokes of Swedish massage while
holding a heated stone of various shapes and sizes. As the
stone cools, they will be replaced with another.
* Larissa might also leave heated stones in specific points
along your spine, or in the palms of your hand, or even
between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your
body.
Hot Stone Therapy can aid with the treatment of muscular
aches and pains, back pain, headaches, improving circulation
and immune system, releasing toxins, sleeping disorders
and reducing stress, tension and anxiety.
All five senses are catered for in a Hot Stone Massage Therapy,
with aromatherapy oil and other relaxing tools being used
when the massage is carried out. Larissa’s goal is to bring
about deep relaxation in the client so that negativity is
removed and the client feels an overall sense of wellbeing.
2. Alternet™Detox Foot Spa
The Alternet™ Detox Foot Spa offers the relaxing alternative
therapy for eliminating unwanted toxins. When the machine
is switched on and the feet are immersed in the water, the
energiser emits a positive and negative bio-energetic current
which travels through the body, and re-balances it, and
helps the process of healing.
The ionic exchange that takes place between your body and
the footbath has a stimulating and balancing effect on the
bio-energetic fields of the body. A less healthy body has
a more positive charge, whilst a healthy body is negatively
charged. The Alternet™ Detox System balances your body to
have a more negative charge. The result is that your body
can detox safely and at its own pace, by mobilising residues
and wastes stored within the body.
3.
Relaxation Massage & Healing Massage with Energy 'Valor'
Balance
We all recognise the demands and pressure
that life brings on each of us. That’s why Larissa has created
her own style of Massage Therapy which helps enhance serenity,
relaxation and peace within you. Massage Therapy gets to
the fundamentals - that is, the power of human touch, and
the spiritual healing potential of one person's hands touching
another person's body along with positive healing intent.
She draws from Swedish and Esalen techniques. It is a gentle
and relaxing process of moving the hands on the body sometimes
in a soft caress and sometimes more firmly, whilst focusing
energy into the body to help with any difficulties, physical
mental, or emotional.
Larissa’s conscious touch encourages and supports the body’s
own healing process and helps to connect areas of the body,
mind and soul on all levels to work as one.
The combination of ‘hands-on’ together with using “Valor”
blend of pure essential oils onto your feet in a special
way, allows a profound emotional and physical healing. ”Valor”
balances energies to instil courage, confidence, and self-esteem.

4.
Raindrop Technique
Raindrop Technique® is an exiting new
gentle, yet powerful aromatherapy technique that combines
ancient Egyptian and Indigenous American energy principles.
It uses pure Essential Oils, Vitaflex technique and special
type of massage to bring balance and harmony back to the
body, mind and soul.
Imagine the sensation of sinking into a deep and blissful
state of rest, as you receive Vitaflex, the Ancient Tibetan
version of foot reflexology. This performs along the spinal
reflex of the feet, in combination with various essential
oils.
As you slowly come back to you body and roll over, you experience
the gentle splashes of 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential
oils (Young Living) which fall like raindrops up to your
spine and over your tired muscles, purifying and cleansing
both body and spirit. The oils interact with the physical
body as well as the energy field. Because the essential
oils easily penetrate the skin and muscles, the technique
works on deep levels of the body without requiring hard
pressure or force.
These oils are the “feathered in” using a spine-tingling
technique inspired by the Native Americans, and your back
is further invigorated with a combination of bodywork and
massage techniques. This exotic combination makes for a
sensational experience, both giving and receiving, which
promotes profound relaxation and balance.
What conditions can be treated with this technique?
Clients have experienced the following results with the
Raindrop Technique®:
•
Reduced Pain - Back problems
• Detoxification, reduction in Colds and Flus
• Relieved Stress & Anxiety
• Helps Insomnia, depression, arthritis, headaches
• Relief of allergies, asthma and respiratory congestion

By Car:
Follow the above map accordingly depending on if you are coming FROM
the city or TO the city.
If you are coming from the city, you have to turn right at Leader Street
because you cannot directly turn right into Railyway Tce North and into
our car park. You have to go around the block.
If you are coming from the south, it's a much easier path as all you
have to do is turn left into Railway Tce North.
By Tram:
Get off at stop "3 Goodwood"
Please note that although it says "3 Goodwood", it doesn't
exactly mean it is the third stop so do not count 3 stops and get off!
By Bus:
Get off at stop 4 on Goodwood Road
The following buses stop on Goodwood Rd.
Bus - 212, 218, and 219 |
