Georgina’s
interest in holistic wellness was borne out of her own personal
struggle with serious chronic illness. Through her 6 year
recovery process, she gained an insight into how each level
of our being functions in relation to the others and realised
that disharmony in one leads to disharmony in all. With this
insight, she sought out therapies and philosophies of living
that supported a holistic approach and soon realized that
what she uncovered was having a positive impact on her health
on all levels. It was at this point that she decided that
she had to utilise her knowledge and experience to help others.
Through a combination of very effective and powerful techniques,
she utilises her advanced knowledge to encourage and support
the body as it rediscovers its self-healing capacity. Her
technique is called the "Body Unity Technique" and
utilizes the following therapies:
1. Myofascial Release Therapy
A gentle form of body therapy which utilises various
techniques, such as sustained pressure and stretching, to
loosen myofascial restrictions which are tense areas in the
muscles and fascia (tough connective tissue that surrounds
every muscle and organ in the body). This effective, gentle
technique is used to reduce pain, relieve muscle tension and
increase range of motion. It involves releasing and unwinding
the fascia which can store memories of physical and/or emotional
trauma. Releasing these restrictions allows us to discharge
recurring emotional or physical pain.
2. Craniosacral Therapy
Another gentle therapy which utilises light touch to help
normalise the craniosacral system.
This system extends from the skull, face and mouth down through
the spinal cord to the sacrum and coccyx and includes all
the structures contained within. Any restrictions or imbalances
in this system may impact any or all aspects of central nervous
system function. Gentle touch techniques are used to locate
restrictions, adhesions or energy cysts in the body that are
causing symptoms. Craniosacral therapy treats the root cause
and this is important because quite often where we feel pain
or discomfort is not the same as where the cause is located.
Craniosacral therapy is not something that is "done"
to the body, rather it stimulates and awakens the body to
adjust and heal itself. Thus clients may feel changes occurring
within their body even though the therapist may be touching
them lightly.
3. Polarity Therapy
A natural health care system based on the human energy field.
Energy flows within and all around us and when balanced and
flowing undisturbed is the basis for health and wellbeing
on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. When
blockages or disharmony occur in the energy currents this
results in manifestations of tension, pain, disease or illness.
Polarity Therapy works to clear the blockages and restrictions
thus restoring the energy field to its natural state of balance.
Polarity Therapy uses gentle or firm touch and rocking techniques
to facilitate these changes.
4. Relaxation Massage
A smooth, gentle style of massage. It is exactly what its
name implies; a massage for the purposes of relaxation. This
style of massage is not designed for therapeutic effects or
dealing with chronic pain or discomfort.
These techniques are excellent
if you are:
- Living with acute or chronic pains and/or illnesses
- Feeling stuck in life
- In need of emotional healing
- Struggling with stress and tension
- Suffering with emotional and/or physical trauma
- In need of deep relaxation and/or stress reduction

She offers:
1. Relaxation massages - can include deep tissue massage,
allowing for deep relaxation and hydration.
2. Lymphatic massages - a therapeutic massage for the lymphatic
system in our body - it is a light pressure massage for people
who cannot tolerate deep pressure on the skin and muscles
or have conditions that prevent them from having huge amounts
of pressure applied.
3. Aromatherapy massages - a massage with the use of essential
oils according to your skin and health conditions.
4. Indian head massage - is based on the ancient healing system
of Ayurveda. This
form of massage works on the upper back, shoulders, upper
arms, neck, scalp, ears and face. The areas are massaged using
firm yet gentle, rhythmic movements that involve acupressure
points called Marma points.
5. Reflexology - this works on the principle that there are
specific pressure points on the feet that correspond to certain
areas and organs of the body
(Sorry but she does not offer health fund rebates)

Angie's
interest in the human body began 26 years ago whilst training
as an Aesthetician (Natural beauty therapist). This involved
intensive training not only in facial and body treatments,
but at a deeper level of 'how the body works' ie. Anatomy
and physiology and the important part nutrition plays in the
health of the body and all of its systems.
Through the years, Angie's interest in health and the human
body has grown, leading to her studies as a remedial massage
therapist 8 years ago. From the intense and sometimes quite
heavy sports massage, through to the gentle but highly effective
bowen therapy, Angie caters for all ages and body conditions
from the frail to the very fit (including babies and the elderly).
Angie's intention as a remedial therapist is to treat everyone
as an individual, offering you a relaxing treatment of either:
1. Bowen therapy
2. Therapeutic massage
3. Sports massage
4. Swedish massage
5. Trigger point therapy
6. Myofascial therapy
7. Reflexology
8. Reiki
9. A combination of the above
The benefits of a massage can be:
1. Increases circulation which can:
a) Stimulate all of the systems of the body
b) Removes wastes and toxins from the tissues
c) Improves skin tone
d) Helps the body to utilise water properly
2. Totally relaxes the muscles, therefore improving the flexibility
and allowing the body to heal itself
3. Relief of physical and emotional stress buildup ie. tension.
Angie has found that from years of experience, the best results
are achieved through regular treatments because your body
will become stronger and more comfortable, therefore guarding
you from disease and injury.

Peter
Tri is me, the director of the Eternal Spirit. I have been
a qualified remedial massage therapist for two years, performing
massages at my own home, at workplaces, and also people's
homes.
I have a diploma in Remedial Massage and have studied a number
of different modalities such as Relaxation massage, Sports/deep
tissue massage, Myofascial release, Thai massage, Anma, Acupressure,
Trigger point therapy, and Reiki.
With regards to my massage, I usually start the session with
a series of myofascial release techniques which means I will
be pulling and pushing your muscles - stretching them out
so I can release the tension in them. I will then go on to
perform a full body oil massage using the above modalities
and finally finish you off with some Reiki to balance and
relax you.
Appointment times - 5.30pm on the selected days above
(Sorry but health fund rebates are not available)

By Car:
Follow the above map accordingly depending on if you are coming FROM
the city or TO the city.
If you are coming from the city, you have to turn right at Leader Street
because you cannot directly turn right into Railyway Tce North and into
our car park. You have to go around the block.
If you are coming from the south, it's a much easier path as all you
have to do is turn left into Railway Tce North.
By Tram:
Get off at stop "3 Goodwood"
Please note that although it says "3 Goodwood", it doesn't
exactly mean it is the third stop so do not count 3 stops and get off!
By Bus:
Get off at stop 4 on Goodwood Road
The following buses stop on Goodwood Rd.
Bus - 212, 218, and 219 |
